| TT.net is a much more effective way for buyers and sellers to meet than CL and some of the other options out there. Trusted members, established vendors, post history, etc account for a large part of the decision making process when I want to exchange $$ and goods with "strangers". Again, it is my opinion that the benefit outweighs the cost in the current situation. We do not disagree that if this was allowed on a permanent basis that the forums would be less useful. I am stating that in the short term, FS and WTB ads in the General forum will not cause 25 pages of junk for one to sort through during a Search. Based on the recent number of daily posts in the Classified Forum before it was deactivated, I do not believe that members posting them in General would cause excessive stress on the Admins, thus preventing their efforts in fixing TT.net Also, if a member is not interested in reading FS or WTB posts, then they do not have to click on them.
